Welcome to Fern Ridge Farms, a small specialty nursery,recently relocated from Canton, Ga. to northeast Alabama, between Cedar Bluff and Centre, Alabama. We are primarily a retail operation, but do sale wholesale on a limited basis. Our 20 years of experience in landscaping, lawn maintenance and the nursery industry has evolved into our greenhouse business specializing in hardy garden ferns. Although we grow other plant materials; select annuals, tropical ferns, perennials, natives, and many fern companion plants; our passion and continuing area of expansion, is our perennial fern program. We are presently growing over 75 varieties of garden ferns in quart, gallon, and 3 gallon sizes.

We are located on Hwy. 273 between Yellow Creek Falls and Little River Canyon Mouth State Park minutes from beautiful Weiss Lake and the majestic mountains of northeast Alabama.We are open to the public and welcome individuals and groups to visit. We do ask that you call before coming out as we are small and don't have set hours other than our scheduled openings because of our shows, special sales, and fern presentations. But we do love visitors, so if our gate is open- we are!
